WELL Architecture Design is delighted to see Chiva-Som Hua Hin recognised in the Robb Report Best of the Best 2026, celebrating the resort’s enduring commitment to exceptional wellness experiences and hospitality.
Originally designed by our team more than three decades ago, Chiva-Som was one of WELL’s early projects and helped shape our approach to creating restorative wellness environments. The original design incorporated spiral pathways, open-air pavilions and carefully considered wellness spaces, creating a strong connection between architecture, nature and the healing experience.
The project provided valuable early lessons in how light, movement, landscape and spatial design can influence the way guests experience a wellness destination. Those principles continue to inform WELL Architecture & Design’s approach to wellness architecture and interior design today.
What is particularly rewarding is seeing the original design vision continue to evolve while retaining its underlying sense of place and purpose. The recognition reflects not only the quality of the original architecture, but also Chiva-Som’s continued investment in maintaining and developing the guest experience over many years.
For WELL, it is a reminder that successful wellness resort design is about more than creating beautiful spaces. It is about establishing a strong design foundation that can evolve over time while continuing to support wellbeing, hospitality and operational excellence.
We congratulate the entire Chiva-Som team on this well-deserved recognition and are proud to see a design vision created more than 30 years ago continuing to make an impact today.
