Y-spa is a state-of-the-art Day Spa, forming the centre piece to Wyboston Lakes. The client brief was to create a design to reflect an atmosphere of fun but also deliver a relaxing experience, and to appeal to experienced spa goer whilst also attracting guests new to the spa experience. The design was delivered on a tight budget, with an aspiration to provide the ‘best value per pound’ experience for the guest.
The spa provides an extensive treatment suite, thermal suite and unique ‘spa garden’. The focus of the garden is a 12m outdoor hydropool surrounded with relaxation decks and an outdoor ‘Kelo’ sauna. This garden provides all day and all year-round use, and consistent revenue, being highly popular with groups and becoming a talking point around the regional spa community.
